I *love* this.  Two delegates elected from each Congressional district to go to Philadelphia next July 4th to hammer out the SPECIFIC reforms that We The People find necessary.  Read this list.  I'm not saying I didn't find anything laughable (including internally inconsistent things) but a few of them had me shouting "hell yeah!"

The first thing I have to tell you is that "The Sheep Look Up" by John Brunner is a really good book. I'm going to quibble a bit in this review, but let me tell you up front that this is well-written, with a tight plot that emerges in a wonderful collage style of writing. It's deeply literate yet easy to read.
